Athlete’s Foot

Athlete’s Foot is a type of fungal infection that usually affects swimmers or those who are in the habit of visiting public pools. The basic symptoms for this condition are a reddish rash and swelling that develops between the toes after swimming. It is dangerous to leave an Athlete’s foot untreated as they can progress to ulcers. To avoid Athlete’s foot, one should always wear sandals while visiting public swimming pools and make sure that the feet are dry after a shower.

Ankle sprains

Ankle sprains occur when a person puts too much pressure on the ankle while performing sports or other related activities. Sometimes even walking on undulating or uneven surfaces may lead to a sprain which causes acute pain as well as tearing of ankle ligament. It may also occur due to the wearing of improper or tightly fitting shoes. For this reason, one should always stick to shoes that come with soft soles and roomy enough for the fingers to be flexible.
